Iustin Narcis Ianau, young singing talent
Narcis Ianau (17 years old) is a Romanian artist whose amazing contra-tenor voice was discovered in Spring 2011, on a "Romania's Got Talent" TV show in Bucharest. Born in a family with few financial possibilities, Narcis never dared to dream of being on a stage. He never imagined that there are people who will appreciate his unusual voice. Impressed by his talent and his difficult situation, TRH Prince Paul and Princess Lia of Romania decided to help Narcis become a true artist and a musical ambassador for their country. Through "HRH Prince Paul for Romania" Foundation in Bucharest, the Royal couple offered Narcis a scholarship in Munich. The German lessons, the canto lessons and the piano lessons with the best teachers from the German Opera in Munich started in November 2011. The "New Year Music Festival in Gstaad" is Narcis Ianau's first performance after starting his professional studies to become a great contra-tenor with the help and support of "HRH Prince Paul for Romania" Foundation.
Narcis will sing a selection of songs and arias including “O mio bambino caro”, “Ave Maria”, “Nessum
dorma” “Scarborough Fair” and “Hallelujah”
